On Steam:

  • Start the game from Steam Library under Modern Warfare, not Warzone launcher.

  1. Close Battle.net
  2. Press Windows + R, type: %programdata%
  3. Delete Blizzard Entertainment & Battle.net folders

Steam Cache

  2. Go to Settings → Downloads
  3. Click Clear Download Cache

Restart your PC after this.

Solution 5: Check Network & DNS

  1. Press Windows + R, type: control.exe /name Microsoft.NetworkAndSharingCenter
  2. Change your network to Private
  3. Use Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4

Solution 6: Update Windows & Graphics Drivers

  • Update Windows
  • Update NVIDIA / AMD / Intel GPU drivers

Final Words

Most of the time, the issue is caused by missing game packs or corrupted files, so make sure the game is fully installed and verified. After performing the above steps, your Modern Warfare Multiplayer should start working correctly.
